About Nicole  Doerr
Nicole Doerr is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Copenhagen. Her main research interests are in the fields of democracy, cultural diversity, political participation, social movements, migration, and gender/intersectionality.

Nicole is engaged in developing an interdisciplinary methodology combining discursive and visual theories of public space which she applies to the study of social media and contentious mobilisation on the issues of migration, precarious labour, and right-wing populism.
